Phil is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) and Masters-level Certified Addictions Professional (MCAP) in Florida, as well as a National Certified Counselor (NCC). A summa cum laude graduate of Lynn University, he made history as the first mental health counseling student chosen as the graduate speaker at commencement.
After working as a primary therapist in dual diagnosis treatment—where he specialized in substance abuse, anxiety, trauma, and severe mental health—Phil played a key role in developing clinical detox programming implemented across multiple states.
In 2022, he founded Dude, Breathe Counseling, a practice dedicated to men’s mental health. With years of research and training in men’s psychology, Phil has developed a unique approach to working with men, been featured on multiple podcasts, and created culturally competent training programs for organizations.
Beyond therapy, Phil is active on social media, breaking down myths about men’s mental health, challenging stigma, and encouraging more men to seek support. He is also the creator of R3Boot, an online course designed to help men reset, recharge, and take control of their lives.
Phil’s mission is simple: empower men, break the silence, and provide real solutions to real struggles.
